Wanting this old-school light for my library, I was happy to find it for sale at S. Feldman Housewares. Unfortunately, when my purchased arrived by mail it was shattered in a thousand pieces. However a call to the store in NYC produced an immediate refund and led to a re-order when the bulbs were back in stock. Though the new bulb arrived -- with sturdier packaging -- it only has one setting of brightness, not three. Still I am glad to have the product and not willing to try a third time. Sending a fragile light bulb through the mail is just not worth it. Throughout the process, the staff at S. Feldman have been courteous and eager to help. Credit for that.
Slow freight
I ordered a incandescent 3 way lightbulb, and when it came, one of the filaments was broken so it didn’t work properly. S. Feldman refunded me right away with no hassle or having to send the bulb back. Furthermore, they notified me when the lightbulbs were back in stock. It was a smooth experience all the way around. Furthermore, I was glad to find a source for the incandescent bulb I wanted. I recommend this company.
