After my go-to wool detergent had been discontinued, and with one family member being allergic to Woolite, I had to get a dedicated wool detergent that would not break the budget. I knew Perwoll from having lived in Germany, so I ordered it. It came sooner than expected, well-packaged (with a liquid, you want to be sure it does not get broken, spilled or frozen during shipping), and the quality of the product is good. I don’t like the smell as much as I liked my previous detergent’s (Ivory Snow), and the Perwoll does not make the laundry quit as soft, but it does clean delicate wool, fleece or lace items gently and leaves them soft with a light scent. I do add fabric softener to some items (some fabrics do not allow this, as they might get damaged by it) for more silkiness and more scent, but it is not really needed.
I do recommend Perwoll over Woolite for sure.
