Linen Wash is made for washable, colorfast linens, cottons, and blends, including antique linens, bedding, lace, and quilts. It contains degreasing agents that aren't suitable for every fabric, but we like Laundry Wash as the universal option for washable clothing. Towel Wash leaves out softeners and optical brighteners so bath linens stay absorbent, and Downwash is for down-filled items, protecting natural feather oils and loft.

The Silk & Lingerie Wash is pH-balanced to thoroughly clean silk, cashmere, wool, and intimates without stripping them. It protects the elasticity and shape of the garment that a general detergent can slacken over time. Use it for hand-washable pieces and delicates you would otherwise send to the dry cleaner.

You'll need about 2 ounces or roughly a quarter cup of Le Blanc for a full load, less in newer high-efficiency machines. The formulas are triple-concentrated, so a small pour does the work of a larger dose of ordinary detergent. Rather than pour the detergent straight onto dry clothing, dilute it in the water first and then drop in your garments. A 64-ounce bottle covers roughly 32 machine loads, and the dispenser pumps out one ounce per press so you can measure without guessing.

Le Blanc cleans fine linens with a neutral-pH, additive-light formula that doesn’t coat or strip them. Pieces come out softer and more supple where mass-market detergent can leave fibers stiff or dull over time, which matters especially for fine and antique linens. Use Linen Water as a post-wash mist to freshen your linens between washes, and Linen-Press as a lightweight, starch-free ironing spray.

Le Blanc states that its washes contain no bleach, caustics, phosphates, sulfates, enzymes, or parabens, are made with organic ingredients, are biodegradable, and are cruelty-free. If your skin is especially sensitive to scent, we carry fragrance-free versions of these washes to give you extra peace of mind.

Original carries a light jasmine and hyacinth note, Lavender is the herbal classic, and the White Flowers scent smells like gardenia and lily. In place of polyester sheets, Le Blanc dryer sachets scent a load in the dryer and can be reused a minimum of 25 times. The luggage sachets keep your clothes smelling good while you're traveling, but also fit well inside closets or dressers.
